Korean schools
In South Korea, families are forced to send their children to school from the age of six. Studying in South Korea for elementary school ranges from 6 to 12 years old. After that, students enter high school, which lasts for 3 years, from 12 to 15 years old. Studying in South Korea in high school is for 3 years and from 15 to 18 years old. In high school, students continue their education academically or technically. South Korean schools are divided into private and public schools. The language of instruction in South Korean schools, up to high school, is generally Korean.
